About The Founder

Thembi Matjila is a chemist by profession.  She holds a BSc degree from Free State University. She majored in Chemistry and Botany. She further studied Project Management with the University of Pretoria and Management Advancement Programme with Wits Business School.

Her career experience includes; power plant operation in the power generation environment, boiler cycle chemistry in the power generation environment, water treatment plant chemistry in the power generation environment, the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) operation in the power distribution environment, field work management in the power distribution environment, process management in the power distribution environment and project integration in the transmission line and substation construction management environment for a utility.

Thembi’s last function in employment was as a Project Integration Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager for Transmission Capital Projects. Central to her portfolio was the responsibility of contributing to the development of Process Control Manuals (PCMs) for Line Construction, Substation Construction, Project Controls and Procurement to ensure standardization during execution of Capital Projects in the Utility.
